Sensei Joe Mifsud started judo at 18 and is now a 4th Dan black belt, gained through competition after only 10 years. He has won gold at the Australia Day National Titles and Australian University Judo Championships, and represented South Australia in national titles and the Oceania Judo Championships. Joe has experience training and competing in South Australia, Northern Territory, Queensland, Victoria and Western Australia. Joe has been a key part of the club from its beginnings, and continues to be our head coach and sensei as we move forward as Adelaide Hills Judo Club.
